To efficiently produce nutritious food to equip local Christian leaders to feed and disciple malnourished children.
NUTRITION WHEN THEY NEED IT MOST
It is absolutely vital for children age 0-6 to have the nutrients they need, or they will never have a chance at a full life. In their research on child hunger, the World Food Programme concluded that malnutrition remains the underlying cause in 45% of all deaths in children under 5, and can cause irreversible damage to children’s growing bodies and brains. This is why Outside the Bowl partners with orphanages, churches, Early Childhood Development centers, schools, and daycares to reach as many children as possible with the nutrition they need.
SUPPORT FRONT LINE MISSIONARIES
Outside the Bowl has the distinct honor of working with hundreds of self-sacrificial, servant leaders throughout the world. These men and women have answered the call to spend their lives on behalf of the poor, specifically children. These leaders of churches, orphanages, schools, and other ministries have the heart and the time to invest in children, but do not have the resources to feed them. That’s where we step in. OTB is a ministry multiplier. We enable local servant leaders to reach more children with nutritious meals, education, and the Good News.
